ZEALANDIA - Karori Sanctuary wins Top Australasian Award

15 April 2009

We have been selected as one of the top 25 ecological restoration projects in Australasia by the Global Restoration Network, in partnership with the Ecological Management & Restoration journal and the Ecological Society of Australia.

Seventeen projects from Australia and eight from New Zealand were selected, including the Great Barrier Reef and Lord Howe Island ecological restoration projects in Australia and Tiritiri Matangi and Te Urewera Mainland Island here in New Zealand. This is a wonderful recognition of our achievements to date.
