Karori Sanctuary is run by a charitable community trust.
Nine trustees chosen for their skills in business and conservation represent the community and various strategic partners. The Sanctuary has three patrons who were involved in the establishment of the Trust.
A small team of full-time staff are supported by a volunteer group of over 400 individuals and a member network involving over 15,000 people from the local community.
